Howard Jones, Dennis DeYoung, Night Ranger, Air Supply all headed to EPCOT
The best part of EPCOT's annual Food and Wine Festival? Not the beer cheese soup in Canada. That's a close second to all the '80s bands you get to see for free each weekend. This year is no different, with a nice lineup of bands that are worth making a road trip to Orlando.
Among the can't-miss acts: Night Ranger, Starship, Air Supply, .38 Special, Dennis DeYoung and the always-great Howard Jones. (I've never seen Survivor, Pointer Sisters or Billy Ocean, but I'm sure they're worth your time too.)
09/28 - 9/30 - Night Ranger
10/01 - 10/03 - Sugar Ray
10/04 - 10/07 - Starship (starring Mickey Thomas)
10/08 - 10/10 - Boyz II Men
10/11 - 10/12 - Smash Mouth
10/13 - 10/14 - Javier Colon
10/15 - 10/17 - Air Supply
10/18 - 10/19 - Gin Blossoms
10/20 - 10/21 - Survivor
10/22 - 10/23 - Hanson
11/09 - 11/11 - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
A lot of these acts are the same from 2011, but that's okay by me. Performances are at 5:45, 7:00 and 8:15 at the America Gardens Theater. Concerts are free, but you still have to pay admission to the park.
