The late Patti Page had hits in the '80s too
Music fans will remember Patti Page, who died Jan. 1 at age 85, for her hit Tennessee Waltz. But '80s fans might find her name familiar too. Page's career surpassed any one decade, and she scored a few hits during our favorite decade too.
Four of her songs climbed the country charts in the early '80s: No Aces, A Poor Man's Roses (Or a Rich Man's Gold), On the Inside and My Man Friday.
Tennessee Waltz was always her signature tune, spending 13 weeks at No. 1 in 1950 and selling more than 6 million copies.
