Name the most-obscure Christmas songs of the '80s

Sting for Christmas/publicity imageEveryone knows Christmas in Hollis by Run-D.M.C. And probably the fork-to-the-eye maddening sound of Madonna singing Santa Baby. But the '80s had some lesser known tunes too. Who out there can sing along with Sting and I Saw Three Ships? Anyone?

Here at Stuck in the '80s, we're in search of the rare holiday tunes of our beloved decade. Why? Because just once, I'd like to have a Christmas morning that doesn't feature Whitney Houston's Do You Hear What I Hear on an infinite loop. And who knows ... maybe we'll sneak in one more podcast this year with YOUR recommendations.

For the purposes of this list, the song needn't be released in the '80s, but it needs to be performed by an '80s artist. And yes, they can be cover songs, too. Too easy?

Here are three '80s Christmas songs I've never heard until today.

What Christmas Means to Me - Paul Young

Christmas Is - Run-D.M.C.

I Saw Three Ships - Sting
