No Police roadblocks in 2007
Want proof that I'm not the only person stuck in the 80s? Check out the list of highest-grossing concerts in 2007.
The Police are on top, having raked in $131-million on their reunion tour. That's nearly double the gross of runner-up Kenny Chesney. Other 80s acts in the top 10: Van Halen (5), Rod Stewart (7) and Genesis (8).
And keep in mind that Van Halen's tour is still going strong (who would have thought that would happen) for 2008. Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen also join the fray this year. So does Ozzy Osbourne, John Mellencamp, The Cure and Iron Maiden.
Plus, you never know what other 80s band will announce a reunion in 2008. Some of the names flying around the Web include Triumph and The Smiths.
