Not all '80s remakes look bad: Check out 'Tron Legacy'
Good news, '80s fans: The first released trailer from Tron: Legacy actually looks ... good!
And yes, Jeff Bridges is front and center as Kevin Flynn, reprising his role from the original. Though from the trailer, he appears to be ... well, judge for yourself. Click here to view it. It's like Big Lebowski meets Last Samurai. The trailer was released over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con.
As for other Tron news:
- The movie stars Olivia Wilde (House M.D.). Click here for an interview on the movie she gave to Wired.
- According to one website, here's the premise: "The premise is that Flynn, again played by Jeff Bridges, has been living in the computer virtual world for the past twenty five years, having vanished from the real world. Flynn's son, Sean Flynn, played by Garrett Hudland, searches for his father and eventually finds a way to enter the virtual computer world to find his father and then proceed on a quest to do battle with a new threat to the virtual computer world."
- Though originally planned for a 2011 release, rumors are that it could be 2010 now. Finally, computers doing good instead of evil!
