Olivia Newton-John on rollerskates? Sure! Iceskates? Ummmm

It seems that Olivia Newton-John is now hopelessly devoted to hockey. Our favorite Aussie has agreed to co-star in a new movie called Score: A Hockey Musical. I guess "Crease is the word."

Shooting on the movie/musical, in which ONJ will play the mom of a teen hockey prodigy, is set to begin next week in Toronto, according to the Associated Press.

ONJ will also co-write and perform one song for the closing credits of the film (along with Canadian singer-songwriter Marc Jordan, who plays the hockey dad). The movie is set to be released Oct. 22.

Don't forget to revisit our slobberly and highly unprofessional interview with Olivia Newton-John from Stuck in the '80s last year.

If you're expecting a top 5 list of hockey movies in the '80s, you're on thin ice. All I can think of 1986's Youngblood.
