Olympic closing ceremony to feature Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys, George Michael
The Eighties Olympics are about to close in London, but not without one farewell party worth remembering. Sticking to their strengths, London planners plan a TON of music for Sunday's televised closing ceremonies.
According to various media reports rounded up by Pollstar, '80s performers include: Pet Shop Boys, Kate Bush, George Michael and Elton John (a man of all decades, including our own).
Rumored to be appearing are Ray Davies and Paul McCartney. Also appearing: a bunch of bands from beyond the '80s -- kill me now, including the Spice Girls -- to provide us with extra long breaks for using the bathroom or just generally staring at the ceiling.
