Please please tell me now: Given a time machine, what '80s event would you change?
John Cusack's Hot Tub Time Machine may have finished a distant third at the box office on its opening weekend, scrapping together a paltry $14 million, but I refuse to stop touting its cultural significance.
Take, for example, a "Please Please Tell Me Now" question we just received via e-mail from David Featherston in Australia: "If you could travel back in time and could change events in the '80s, what event would you change, or what event would you like to live over?"
Co-host Sean Daly and I will answer the question in this week's podcast, but we thought it was fun enough to open it up to everyone. (Myself? I'm leaning toward changing prom dates and/or reliving my freshman year of college.)
So please, please tell us know: "Jump into Cusack's Hot Tub Time Machine, head back to the '80s (and only the '80s) and tell us what personal event you'd change or relive."
We'll share some of the best answers on our next podcast.
