Guys! The episode about Queen's The Game brought back some memories. You were right on about the skate rink and Another One Bites the Dust. Also, this is the first time in about 30 years that I have heard Don't Try Suicide.
As a wee lad of 9 or 10, I had to have the 45 of Another One Bites the Dust, which had Don't Try Suicide as the B-Side. My parents took offense at the "nobody gives a damn" line and forbade me from listening to that song. Of course, I would try to listen when I though I could get away with it to see what the forbidden fruit was.
I eventually had the 45 confiscated for a month, and received it back with the B side all scratched up so I could not listen to it. Listening to it now, I'm not seeing the appeal at all, but it made me laugh. I laughed even more when I realized I edited the mp3 of Kiss Me Deadly to take the "didn't get laid" line out before putting it on my 9-year-old's mp3 player. Keep the pod casts coming; it makes coming to work on a Saturday almost worth it.
