'Princess Bride' reunion photo? As you wish ...
The Princess Bride turns 25 years old this year, so you know what means: One more trip into the Fire Swamp to fight the Rodents of Unusual Size? No, rumors about a possible sequel.
At a cast reunion and screening of Princess Bride on Tuesday at the New York Film Festival, writer William Goldman admitted he's been mentally wrestling with a sequel idea for years.
"I’m desperate to make it and write it and I don’t know how," Goldman told the L.A. Times. "I would love to make it, more than anything else I’ve not written."
So it that a yes or a no to an actual sequel? We're not sure. But the cast seemed to enjoy getting back together again.
Mandy Patinkin said his infamous line -- “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die" -- lives on today with fans.
“Little kids, their parents, their grandparents ask me to say it,” Patinkin said.
A Blu-ray anniversary edition of Princess Bride comes out this week.
