R.E.M.'s final album: 40-song greatest hit collection

rem2.jpgR.E.M. isn't going completely radio-free. The newly departed band from Athens, Ga., has one final greatest-hits CD to sell first. And this one -- titled R.E.M., Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982 – 2011 -- is a no brainer to buy.

That's because it's their first CAREER-spanning greatest-hits album. As points out, past collections have either included only IRS hits (Eponymous, And I Feel Fine… The Best of the IRS Years 1982-1987) or their time with Warner (In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003).
