Romantics, Mr. Mister frontmen join Ringo Starr's summer tour

Ringo starr Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band and summer tours have become a musical tradition of sorts over the last decade, the one concert you can set your sundial by.

This year's edition includes two '80s musicians: The Romantics singer/guitarist Wally Palmar and Mr. Mister singer/bassist Richard Page. (Other guest musicians for the 2010 edition include Edgar Winter, Gary Wright and Rick Derringer.)

Usually, his guests on tour get two songs of their own to perform. That probably means Talking In Your Sleep for Palmar. (Not sure he'll do What I Like About You, since drummer Jimmy Marinos sings that tune.) I'm guessing Page will add Broken Wings and Kyrie.

The tour begins June 24 in Niagra Falls and runs though Aug. 7 in Los Angeles. Three Florida stops are scheduled, including July 13 at Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall. (Tickets go on sale this Friday.)
