Sean Connery still 'Untouchable' at 80

Sean Connery in The UntouchablesJust how crazy am I going to come off if I say Sean Connery belongs to the '80s? Connery cranked out a dozen films in our beloved decade, and he won his only Academy Award (so far) in 1988. Sounds like a compelling argument.

But Connery, who turns 80 freaking years old today (and can still probably score women half MY age), really belongs to whatever decade you discovered him in. For many of us, that would be the early James Bond years. For other, less-fortunate souls, it might be the 1990s, where aside from Hunt for Red October, his film roles seemed like watered down versions of his better days.

But thankfully, this isn't the Stuck in the '90s blog. And we have a dozen films to rank today in honor of Sir Sean Connery. Hell, can we just call him Your Royal Majesty, Sean the First?
