Super Bowl halftime performer? Rumor says it's Madonna
Madonna is set to be the halftime entertainment for Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 5, if you believe what you read online.
"As you'd expect for an artist with her mass appeal, this isn't the first time Madonna's been approached about performing at the Super Bowl," reports SBnation.com. "In 1998, it was heavily rumored that Madonna would perform at Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami, only to have the plans fall apart before a deal could be reached. Likewise, Madonna was reportedly to headline the halftime show for Super Bowl XXXV, two years later, but backed out at the last minute."
But is Madonna a good pick? Is she a must-see performer? Or, as she reportedly did at the Toronto Film Festival, will she make all 80,000 people in attendance avert their eyes from her majestic presence as she walks by?
And assuming you still care, which songs should she include? Let's assume it's a three-song set.
