Their gig is on my list: Hall & Oates coming to Clearwater on Dec. 3
Daryl Hall and John Oates bring their decades-spanning catalog of hits to Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday, Dec. 3, the venue announced today. I didn't give the boys from Philly the nicest review the last time I caught them, which was a freebie show in cavernous Tropicana Field after a Rays baseball game. But I have faith they'll redeem themselves in the more intimate setting of Ruth Eckerd.
If I go to their December show, I'm pretty sure that will tie the record of most times I've seen a band live: REO Speedwagon and Night Ranger, who seem to come through yearly, currently hold the mark at a measley three concerts in person. (I need to get out more, but times are tough and concert tix these days are pricey.)
Both Daryl and John have recent solo albums they could draw from during the concert, but save your energy for the usual slate of '80s hits, including Kiss Is On My List, Maneater, Private Eyes and so many more. Click here to see if the boys are coming to your town soon.
Tickets for the Clearwater show, which go on sale Friday at noon, run from $49.50 to $100.
