They can still rock in America

David Lee Roth, Foreigner, Night Ranger. I'm drooling like Homer Simpson. ("Sixty-four slices of American cheeeeeese"). They're all playing RibFest 2005 this weekend in St. Petersburg.

Roth, the former Van Halen frontman ... soon to replace Howard Stern on radio, plays Friday. Night Ranger is on stage Saturday. Foreigner rocks on Sunday. Check out the RibFest website for times and other bands scheduled to appear (including Little Feat, Honey Tribe and Gregg Rolie ... the former Santana and Journey star).

Favorite songs from each band:
Roth (well, Van Halen): "Panama"
Night Ranger: "When You Close Your Eyes"
Foreigner: "Blue Morning, Blue Day"

And songs I can live the rest of my life without ever hearing again:
Roth: "California Girls"
Night Ranger: Who am I kidding? I celebrate their entire collection.
Foreigner: "Urgent" tied with "I Want To Know What Love Means"

Now we're sitting in butter...
