Tina Turner turns 72: 'This is Thunderdome, and death is listening'

November

It's hard to think about Tina Turner in the '80s without Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome popping up first in your head. Turner was on top of the world in 1985 when this movie came out, and We Don't Need Another Hero scored a Grammy nomination for best female vocal pop performance. (Can you name the tune it lost out to?)

Turner turns 72 today. Surely, that's worth a list for "Aunty Entity."

TOP 5 TINA TURNER LINES FROM BEYOND THUNDERDOME:

5. "Do you know who I was? Nobody. Except on the day after, I was still alive."

4. "One day, cock of the walk. Next, a feather duster."

3. "The law says: bust a deal and face the wheel!"

2. "Remember where you are - this is Thunderdome, and death is listening, and will take the first man that screams."

1. "Master Blaster runs Bartertown!"
