Today's rare video find: The Revillos

Oh yeah, that's an 80s video all right. Special thanks to Sara Hall of Ames, Iowa, who actually just bought a Revillos CD today.

"I love that whacked out punk stuff from the early 80's. Especially chicks doing it," Sara confesses.

Bprevi The band hails from Scotland, forming in Edinburgh in 1976. According to the band's official website, The Revillos featured Eugene Reynolds, Fay Fife and Rocky Rhythm. Other members have included Hi Fi Harris, Jo Callis, William Mysterious, Angel Patterson, Max Atom, Kid Krupa, Vince Spik and Dr D.K. Smythe.

Their song "Rev-Up" appears in the movie Sixteen Candles during the party scene at Jake Ryan's house.

Though they disbanded in 1984, The Revillos still tour occasionally with different lineups.
