Tom Hanks plans 'Bosom Buddies' cast reunion

Bosombuddies04a Finally a reunion we can cheer about: Tom Hanks has announced he'll reunite the cast of his breakthrough TV show Bosom Buddies for the upcoming TV Land Awards on April 25.

The show starred Hanks and Peter Scolari as two men who are forced to dress up as women in order to land an apartment in an all-female building. And yes, it's believed Hanks and Scolari will be in drag for the awards.

Always expected to attend are co-stars: Donna Dixon, Telma Hopkins and Holland Taylor.

The show ran on ABC from 1980 to 1982 and featured Billy Joel's My Life as the theme song. Though it was fairly popular and could have been renewed for further seasons, Scolari chose to join the cast of Newhart and Hanks instead went into movies.

[Scolari also appears in bit roles in many of Hanks' recent movie projects, including That Thing You Do, The Polar Express and the HBO series From The Earth to the Moon.]
