Van Halen finally ready to tour again ... in Japan
Eddie Van Halen must be feeling better. He, David Lee Roth and the boys are ready to get back out on the road after being benched earlier this year when Eddie had emergency surgery for diverticulitis, a painful condition where pouches in the colon becoming inflamed.
The bad news is that, unless you live in Japan, you'll have to wait a bit longer for Van Halen to make good on those postponed dates. So far, the only new dates are June 21 at the Tokyo Dome and June 24 & 26 at Osaka’s City Central Gymnasium, according to Pollstar. (Really? A central gymnasium? I'm sure it looks much bigger in person.)
If you live in Florida, then no sweat; the band already swung through our state during the tour so unless this tour is extended, you won't see them again for another couple years.
If you're still hungry for more Van Halen, check out the band's official website, which has been scaled down tremendously to just focus on a series of videos -- many of which show band members interviewing each other. Whatever passes the time...
