Watch Rick Springfield perform July 24 live from his studio

rick_springfield.jpgNow this is interesting: Rick Springfield is playing an intimate little show tonight -- Tuesday, July 24 -- at 9 p.m. Eastern time. The venue: His studio. The audience: Anyone on the Internet.

"Rick will be performing from his laptop computer, and you will be watching from yours," his official site explains. "This is your chance to hang out with Rick online from his studio! Type your questions, comments, and requests in the chat box on the right hand side and Rick will see them!"

The show will not be recorded or archived, so it's truly a live event. As for tickets, well, that's an interesting little trick. Fans will need to sign up and create a "Stageit" account." From there, you purchases credit (or "notes" -- which go for 10 for $1). The show is technically "pay what you can," so you're free to pay what you want. However, there is a 1 note minimum. Ten cents? That's it? Rick is worth a ton more! Click here for more information.
