Welcome back! Sweathogs return for TV Land Awards

The cast of the late '70s TV comedy Welcome Back Kotter -- including John Travolta -- are set to celebrate their 35th anniversary in April during the TV Land Awards, according to TV Guide. (Remember that Tom Hanks and the cast of Bosom Buddies did the same thing last year -- albeit not in drag.)

"Good for Travolta for hopping on board, considering he never would have landed Grease and Saturday Night Fever were it not for his breakout role as Vinnie Ba-ba-ba Ba-Barbarino, who never had a problem scoring dates!" TV Guide said.

Among those to expect: Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs (Freddie "Boom-Boom" Washington), Ron Palillo (Arnold Horseshack) and Marcia Strassman (Mrs. 'Kot-tear') have have said. TV Land expects Robert Hegyes (Juan Epstein) and Gabe Kaplan (Mr. K) to sign on soon. The show airs April 17.
