What every soccer stadium needs: a creepy statue of Michael Jackson
When Michael Jackson sang Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough, he probably wasn't talking about erecting a statue of his Bad ole self in front of a British soccer stadium. Blame it on Human Nature, because that's exactly what has happened outside the Fulman Football Club's home.
"Mohamed Al Fayed has told 'stupid' Fulham fans to 'go to hell' if they do not like the Michael Jackson statue unveiled at the club on Sunday," the Daily Mail reports. "The Fulham chairman said fans could go and support west London rivals Chelsea if they did not appreciate the controversial memorial."
"Why is it bizarre? Football fans love it," he told the paper. "If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell. I don't want them to be fans. ... People will queue to come and visit it from all over the UK and it is something that I and everybody else should be proud of."
