What's scarier: Betty White the pinup girl or Betty White the vampire?
A Betty White calendar for 2011?!? A Betty White vampire movie?!? The pop culture lust for our favorite Golden Girl has officially gone overboard, right? (Hey, maybe Hot in Cleveland is a good TV show, but I'd only watch it to lust over Valerie Bertinelli.)
Frankly, I'm afraid to look at any of the calendar photos beyond the two I received via e-mail. And yes, you'll have to look further down to see one of the actual centerfolds featuring Betty. (What? No poses of Betty with a shirtless, oiled Abe Vigoda?)
The calendar reportedly isn't available until September. It'll cost $12.99. All of Betty's proceeds will benefit The Morris Animal Foundation based in Denver.
Now ... about this Betty White vampire weirdness...
It turns out Betty White could be cast in the next Twilight film, Breaking Dawn. At least cast members would like to see her appear.
According to Starzlife.com, "Kellan Lutz, Peter Francenelli, Julia Jones, and Elizabeth Reaser think White would fit right in to their franchise, with the help of some new technologies."
"I would love for them to do what they did in Benjamin Button with her and she can be Renee (Sarah Clarke's character) or Esme (Reaser's character)," Lutz said in an interview. "I would change some scenes up so we could have Emmet (Lutz's character) going for her. I want to work with her. That would be so much fun."
Even Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is on board.
"We have so many vampires in Breaking Dawn, surely she can fit in somewhere," Meyer told Starzlife. "Wouldn't it be amazing if she was like just sitting there with a big group of the Volturi (vampire sect)? That would be amazing."
Can't be any creepier than the calendar. And please, please: No Betty White/Twilight 2012 Calendars!
