When you close your eyes, do you dream about Night Ranger and REO Speedwagon?

REO Speedwagon and Night Ranger are coming back to Tampa Bay. The date for the joint show is set for April 25 at Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall. Both bands payed here last year, but that's not nearly enough for '80s fans, who always turn out in big numbers for these acts, fronted by the nicest two guys in show biz -- Kevin Cronin and Jack Blades.

You doubt my sincerity? Relive the podcast magic from last year when we interviewed both Cronin and Blades. Pure bliss. Last year, I got to introduce Night Ranger on stage. I'd love to do the same for REO this time around. And for those who think REO just sits up there and plays their ballads all night, wrong! They put on a killer rocking show.

MORE CONCERT NEWS: Bad news. Berlin appears to have fallen off the lineup for Regeneration Tour 2009. The band, featuring Terri Nunn, was supposed to play a limited number of stops on the tour (mainly in the Northeast) but now is missing from the list of scheduled artists on the tour's official website. Hopefully I'll have the scoop on this soon.
