Who's ready for Tears for Fears in Clearwater?
Tears for Fears rolls in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night at Ruth Eckerd Hall. The Stuck in the '80s boys will be there, of course. Sadly, we don't get Spandau Ballet as the opening act (as fans did in Australia). I know this much is true, I'm only interested in hearing Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith anyway. It's been FOREVER since they've been in Florida.
Even better, there's a ton of buzz about this particular show at Ruth Eckerd, which has become the de facto home of the best '80s shows in Tampa Bay (Styx and REO Speedwagon are coming later this fall).
If you want a sneak peak at the setlist, here's what we can expect on Wednesday. Looks like the boys stick to the same list each night. They know how to make music critics happy.
TEARS FOR FEARS 2010 SETLIST
- Mad World (Intro)
- Everybody Wants to Rule the World
- Secret World
- Sowing the Seeds of Love
- Advice for the Young at Heart
- Call Me Mellow

- Everybody Loves a Happy Ending
- Seven of Sundays
- Billie Jean (Michael Jackson cover)

Sadly, the "literal version" of Head Over Heels didn't make the list. But here it is.
