Who's up for a roadtrip? Human League, B-52s, Fixx, Berlin play Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 2
The rich tradition of the Stuck in the '80s roadtrips may be alive and well in 2011. We've just uncovered one hell of an '80s show in the Los Angeles area: The Totally '80s Hollywood Bowl show featuring The Human League, The B-52s, The Fixx and Berlin.
Yes, it'd be a long haul for fans on the east coast, but this one feels like a can't-miss show. I caught the Human League about three years ago in Las Vegas and they blew me away. Easily one of the best live shows I've ever witnessed. And those who saw Berlin on the Regeneration Tour a year later were equally impressed.
Tickets don't go on sale until May so there's time to get our ducks in a row. Last year, in Las Vegas, we had about 20 or so fans for the Lost '80s show at Mandalay Bay. I'd like to double that number this time. Who out there thinks this is worth turning into our official 2011 trip?
