The year everything went 'So Wrong' with the Doobie Brothers
As an original Doobie Brother, Patrick Simmons helped launch the band in the early '70s with songs he wrote like Black Water. By 1983, the Doobie Brothers disbanded and Simmons cut off about a foot of his ‘70s hair and hit No. 30 on the charts with So Wrong.
In the video, Simmons plays a private eye in search of young runaways in love, all set to a very danceable rock beat. Simmons will be at Tampa’s Busch Gardens on Feb. 24th performing with the reunited Doobie Brothers.
This video is taped off a MTV broadcast and includes a station promo and an ending appearance by the charming Martha Quinn.
