You may ask yourself ... why the big white suit?

Need a great Halloween costume idea? Go as David Byrne from Stop Making Sense! All you need to properly honor the concert film starring the Talking Heads is: a) A really big white suit. b) Lots of hair gel. Simple.

And if you require added inspiration, Stop Making Sense is returning to the Beach Theatre on Oct 8. at 9 p.m. The last time it played at this historic venue in St. Pete Beach, it was a sellout. And get this: Theater owner Mike France says the movie is being pulled from theatrical distribution in a few weeks, "so this may be the last chance to see the film as it was meant to be seen, in a theatre!"

Tickets are $7, practically a steal from what cineplexes are charging these days. The Beach Theatre is at 315 Corey Ave, St. Pete Beach, 727 360 6697, www.beachtheatre.com. By the way, in case you are actually wondering "Why the big suit..."

According to an article in the Guardian that is reprinted on DavidByrne.com, "it was an affectionate parody of every uptight white rocker who has ever attempted to get down and get funky."
