Even Canadian couch potatoes could laugh at Doug & The Slugs

Have you felt bombarded by male performance ads on TV, radio and the internet? If so, we offer you a better solution than a Canadian Pharmacy with Doug and the Slugs and their remedy of Making It Work.

Doug and the Slugs was a fun Canadian bar band in the '80s that logged four Top 40 hits in their native country including 1982's Making It Work. In a current world inundated by ads for male performance by Viagra and Cialis, Doug and the Slugs offer a humorous look at male performance problems in the '80s with the video for Making It Work in which he enlists the Slugs (aka Helping Hands Sexual Therapists) and comedy gold ensues.

By the mid-'90s, the hits dried up for Doug and the Slugs. Lead singer Doug Bennett would pass away in 2004 from cirrhosis of the liver.
