For '80s fans and Danny Wilde, time definitely runs wild

Do you know Danny Wilde? Well, since the ‘80s he's always been a friend of mine. In the ‘90s, Wilde formed The Rembrandts who scored a couple of hits including the Friends theme I'll Be There For You. Before he started counting his residual checks, Wilde produced some great solo material in the ‘80s.

At the start of the ‘80s Wilde was a member of the little known band Great Buildings before going solo in the mid-80s. After the moderate success of his debut album The Girlfriend, Wilde released the follow up Any Man's Hunger that contained the driving Time Runs Wild.

The song was a minor hit on rock stations but never landed on the singles chart. Those who admit to seeing the Two Coreys vehicle Dream A Little Dream might remember Time Runs Wil" being included in the film.  I highly recommend his solo material including Any Man's Hunger as I consider it one of the most underrated albums of the decade.
