Hasselhoff joins 'Baywatch' movie ... Pamela Anderson still undecided
You can’t hassle the Hoff and you can’t have a Baywatch reboot without him either. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed via Facebook that David Hasselhoff will join the movie reboot of Baywatch.
“Pleasure to officially welcome the original #BAYWATCH gangsta himself David Hasselhoff to our movie!” Johnson wrote on Facebook. “Hoff's a cool dude who's down to have fun and here's the best part.. He's been training his a— off and gotten in the best shape he's been in in years!”
Johnson actually will play the role of Mitch Buchannon - Hasselhoff’s character - in the movie, which also co-stars Zac Efron.
Pamela Anderson, who played C.J. on the long-running show, also has been offered a part, according to Entertainment Weekly, but hasn’t decided whether to take it.
Kelly Rohrbach will play the C.J. character in the movie, which is set for a May 19, 2017 release.
