'Jaws' ready to get reboot ... maybe this time they'll get a bigger boat
Sharknado. Then Shark Week. Now a Jaws reboot? I guess it'll never be safe to back into the water. I'm a little shocked to hear that Steven Spielberg is allowing his breakthrough movie to get the Hollywood reboot treatment, but that's the word on the movie blogs.
Moviepilot.com says production is currently trying to cast all crew positions: "We are seeking all crew positions for the upcoming Jaws reboot. We will need to build sets quite early therefore we will be hiring partially prior to the official pre-production. Please submit all job queries via flickfolks.com in the US Film Crew Section. Please leave a message there directly with the studio PM."
Not much room for ambiguity there. Does this mean Universal Studios will bring back its Jaws ride? Because I'd be all in favor of that. Please, just don't set the film on a Florida beach. We have enough trouble down here without that.
