John Cusack sells Malibu mansion for $10.3 million

Poor Lloyd Dobler. He din't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. Turns out that extends to real estate as well. John Cusack, who will always be Lloyd from 1989’s Say Anything, just did sell something - his home in Malibu.

The sale price was $10.3 million - $3 million lower than asking price, but still a nice profit since he apparently bought it back in 1999 for $2.1 million, according to Mansion Global. (Yeah, apparently it’s a real website.)

Cusack was living well above his kick-boxing means - “sport of the future” - in the home, which actually was a thrifty 3-bedroom/4 1/2 bath abode with 4,660 square feet.

No word on where John will live next, but if you give him a pen, he’ll give you his … written intent to purchase? Nah, doesn’t sound nearly poetic enough.
