'Kings and Queens' were no joke in the '80s

Profiled several times earlier in Dr. Dim's Never Found series, Killing Joke brought the post punk to England's music scene in the '80s. Even in the fringes, Killing Joke had a few U.K. Top 40 hits and many near misses like Kings and Queens from 1985. From their best selling album Night Time, the video for Kings and Queens find lead singer Jaz Coleman holding court over a stadium and hardcore fans showcasing the intense presence that made Killing Joke one of Dave Grohl's favorite bands from his youth.
