Mother pus bucket! They're gonna make Ghostbusters 3 anyway!
Ghostbusters III is going forward, with Sony eyeing a 2015 start date on production, reports Nerdist.com. This is shocking, of course, following the death of Harold Ramis, who was the brains on and off screen for the orginal two Ghostbusters film. Luckily, at least one Hollywood veteran knows when to steer clear.
Ivan Reitman says that after Ramis' death, he doesn't want to direct any sequel.
"With Harold no longer with us I couldn't see it. ... I'd rather just produce this Ghostbusters," Reitman tells Deadline.com. "I'm not going to say how many Ghostbusters there will be in the new cast, but we are determined to retain the spirit of the original film, and I am pleased that all of this seems to have happened organically."
