Read Laurie Anderson's obit for husband Lou Reed
The tributes for the late Lou Reed, who influenced generations of musicians, have been pouring in. But we've been waiting patiently to see if his wife, musician Laurie Anderson, would contribute. She has. The obituary she penned ran not in the New York Times but in the East Hampton Star. Click here to read the full text. My favorite part:
"Lou was a tai chi master and spent his last days here being happy and dazzled by the beauty and power and softness of nature. He died on Sunday morning looking at the trees and doing the famous 21 form of tai chi with just his musician hands moving through the air."
