‘Terminated 2’ gets terminated by studio
Looks like humanity has nothing more to fear from Skynet and cyborg assassins from the future: Paramount Studios has pulled the next Terminator sequel from its release schedule.
According to Deadline.com, 2015’s Terminator: Genisys, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, was a financial disappointment - despite earning more than $440 million worldwide.
Terminator 2 - why it’s called that I have no idea - was set for a May 19, 2017 release. Now that spot is going to - wait for it - the big-screen reboot of Baywatch. Oh, Arnold. I can’t think of a worse fate. (Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron are set to star in that soon-to-be disaster ... unless a movie studio from the future sends a cyborg back to prevent it from happening. Now that’s an idea I can stand behind.)
