The Call plays first shows in 20 years with son replacing father
I've been a fan of The Call ever since they did an epic opening set for Simple Minds back in 1986. When frontman Michael Been died of a heart attack back in 2010, fans might have assumed that was the end of any chance for a reunion. Not so fast.
This past week, the band reunited for their first concerts in 20 years. Replacing Michael Been was Robert Levon Been, his son. The result: Chilling and beautiful. Read the full review at Slicing Up Eyeballs and watch their performance of I Still Believe here.
