Thursday lost and found: The Del-Lords 'Judas Kiss'

The Del-Lords formed in New York City and grabbed their band name from the director of The Three Stooges shorts and movies. No wise guys, the Del-Lords made respected music in the ‘80s including 1988’s Judas Kiss.

Judas Kiss comes from the album Based on a True Story and was produced by Neil Giraldo. It’s no surprise that Giraldo’s wife, Pat Benatar, sings backup on Judas Kiss along with Syd Straw. The video also features a brief cameo by Lou Reed at the end.

The Del-Lords reunited in 2010 to perform and record an EP but have since gone back to individual projects.
