Truly a scandal this band wasn't bigger in the '80s

I would listen to Patty Smyth sing the phonebook, but lucky for you that we just present another one her lost hits with her band Scandal and Hands Tied.

In the five years that Scandal was together in the '80s, it is odd that they only had one Top 40 hit during their run with the Top 10 hit The Warrior. Songs like Goodbye To You achieved cult status despite only reaching No. 65 on the singles chart. Scandal also had two songs peak at No. 41 as well. We covered Beat Of A Heart earlier on Lost and Found and the other song that missed by that much was Hands Tied.

Hands Tied was the follow up single to The Warrior penned by the hit machine of Holly Knight and Mike Chapman, but never made it big despite and a sultry performance in the video by Smyth. There's been no activity promoted for Smyth since she released her holiday album last year.
