Tuesday lost and found: Style Council 'My Ever Changing Moods'
If ever you were wondering - “Who is a slower cyclist – Paul Weller or Mick Talbot?” - Your question might be answered by watching the video for The Style Council’s My Ever Changing Moods.
In 1983, Weller split from The Jam to team up with Talbot to form the The Style Council and in 1984 reached No. 29 on the singles chart with the horned-flavored sound of My Ever Changing Moods. For an upbeat song, the video chronicles the duo peddling along the country roads of Europe at speeds which might reach a scintillating 5 mph and will not bring back memories of the Cutters or the Italians in the ’79 classic Breaking Away.
Weller still performs as a solo act while Talbot has rejoined Dexys (Dexy’s Midnight Runners).
