We pity the fools: Mr. T joins cast of 'Dancing with the Stars'
I've never watched a single episode of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, but maybe now that Mr. T is booked as a contestant for the upcoming season, it might be worth a peek.
The former Rocky III and A-Team star has been confirmed for season 24 of the popular show, which made the announcement this morning on Good Morning America. His dance partner will be Kym (Johnson) Herjavec. (Is that good? I have no idea. Trust me. Not a single episode.)
Mr. T (born Lawrence Tureaud) is already promoting his appearance via Twitter:
"Hey Fool! I will be on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS)! I am honored to have two-time champion Kym Johnson as my partner... Between me and you, I really can't dance! But I will do my very best for the children @shrinershosp and @StJude... But make no mistake about it Fool! I will train and will practice real hard. Even when I am tired and sore, I'll keep rehearsing! Grrr.! Now, if I just happen to win, I will cutoff my Mohawk to stand in solidarity with the children who are fighting cancer! GOD bless them! But if we don't win, what a Pity! It won't be because I didn't try hard! Oh no..., 'cause I'm gonna bring it everyday Fool!"
Other celebrity contestants include figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, singer Charo, former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan and Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei among others.
Our prediction? Pain...
