We're betting Greg Kihn is still a 'Happy Man' today

November

It was exactly one year ago when Steve Spears granted a dreamer's wish and allowed me to post the very first entry of "Lost and Found". Rather than a review the 250 plus (!) songs we've chronicled over the past year, we'll celebrate the anniversary in a low key manner with simply another lost nugget from the ‘80s.

Happy Man was released by Greg Kihn Band as a single in 1982 and when compared to the success of their previous Top 40 hit, The Breakup Song, it paled in success reaching only No. 62 on the pop charts. I picked this video as I thought it was fitting visual of a guy who gets up around 6 a.m. each morning, shaves, goes to work and can't get music of out his head. Like Kihn, listening to ‘80s music makes me a "happy man" and being a part of the Stuck in the '80s team has been a blast.
