World Trade Center attack on 9/11; newly obtained photos (10 images)
New photos of the Sept. 11, 2001, World Trade Center attack have been released, obtained by ABC News through a Freedom of Information Act request filed with the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The NIST collected the images as part of its investigation into the terrorist attack. The photos offer a rare aerial view of Ground Zero in the moments after the attack.
