A home destroyed by fire is seen in a burnt area next to Highway 630 East near Indian Lake Estates on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017.

While investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire, the state's abnormally dry weather — and particularly strong winds on Thursday created the perfect conditions to help form and fuel the blaze. Widespread drought conditions caused by above-average heat and minimal humidity have increased the threat of brush fires in Florida. The dry season runs through April, and more fires are possible if the below-average rain and moisture trend persists.

About 2,800 dogs from 190 breeds are competing in the 141st Westminster Kennel Club dog show this year, and by late Tuesday night, a new pooch will be crowned "Best in Show."

This year, three new breeds will be first-timers at Westminster. One is the Pumi, a Hungarian herding dog that's related to the mop-like puli.

Another new entry will be the American hairless terrier, which, as its name implies, is not a furry sort - in fact, the dogs need sunscreen or a coat when they go outside, according to the American Kennel Club.

Rounding out the trio of newbies is the Sloughi, which is pronounced SLOO-ghee, which is also known as the Arabian greyhound. It was bred to hunt, and it likes to run.

You can watch the competition Monday and Tuesday night on Fox Sports' FS1 channel. Click here to find FS1 on your TV
