Times Photographer favorites: Octavio Jones shares his top 4 photos from 2015
1. While taking photos of a mother grieving over her 14-year-old in a casket, I started to feel her pain as a parent losing a child, as if he were my son laying there. A photojournalist never wants to take photos of moments like this, but it's important for us to bear witness in hopes this will never happen again.
2. A moment that I might have missed had I stayed in the media workroom to finish up my coverage of the game.
3. A photo from one of the most important stories of 2015, documenting people who were profiled while riding their bicycles in low-income neighborhoods in Tampa.
4. As demonstrated by this image, there's nothing like the love a teacher shows for her students as she helps them to learn.
