U.S. troops are served traditional Thanksgiving meal
In Afghanistan on Thursday, U.S. soldiers at Resolute Support headquarters in Kabul were served a traditional Thanksgiving meal by their superior officers.
Joining the group was the Commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan, Gen. John F. Campbell
Meanwhile, Army soldiers serving in the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Kosovo also got a meal by their superiors at the U.S. military base Camp Bondsteel, near the village of Sojeve in Kosovo.
It is the 16th Thanksgiving for hundreds of U.S. solders serving in the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
