Video: Humane Society takes in puppies bound for storm-threatened shelter
On Saturday, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay received close to 40 puppies from Calcasieu, Louisiana that were scheduled for transfer to a shelter in New Jersey. Due to the threat of Hurricane Joaquin, which derailed the process, and an uncertain future, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay volunteered to rescue the puppies for adoption rather than let them possibly be euthanized.
