Labor loves Rice
The West Central Florida Federation of Labor has thrown its endorsement behind Darden Rice, who’s vying for the District 3 Pinellas County Commission seat being vacated by Bob Stewart.
Rice, the niece of former Sheriff Everett Rice, faces former St. Petersburg City Council member Rene Flowers in the Democratic primary. The victor goes up against School Board member Nancy Bostock in the general election.
